Mayo Fianna Fáil Deputy Dara Calleary has said any attempt to force the amalgamation of small schools in Co Mayo must be resisted. Fianna Fáil has urged the Minister for Education Ruairí Quinn not to dismiss genuine concerns of teachers and parents about the severe impact of cuts to frontline education services.
