Less than three weeks for Mayo clubs to register for Sports Capital Grants

SportsMayo Deputy Dara Calleary is reminding the clubs and organisations across Co Mayo that there are less than three weeks left to register to be in for the Sports Capital Programme this year. Applications can still be made until February 28th but the deadline for registration is Friday, February 7th at 5pm.

Deputy Calleary said, “Any clubs that are applying for grants from the €40m Sports Capital Programme this year must be registered online to make their applications. Applications can be lodged until 5pm on February 28th but there is cut-off for registration. All clubs must register at www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie by 5pm on Friday February 7th.

“I am urging as many clubs as possible to register early, even if they need more time to prepare their applications. They can still lodge their applications after Feb 7th, until the end of the month.

“The Sports Capital Programme is a huge boost for communities and gives clubs and groups a chance to get much needed investment in dressing rooms, floodlights, or upgrade work to pitches.

“There is support for organisations that have questions about the programme. Enquiries for groups from Co Mayo can be made to 064 6627316 or you can also contact my constituency office.”
