Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Dara Calleary TD has accused Fine Gael of rehashing its policies on business, while its previous strategy “The Voice of Small Business” lies gathering dust on a shelf.  Fine Gael is poised to release another document next week, aimed at winning over the business community, which it has been ignoring for the past four years. Mayo farmers penalised under new Farm Assist applications – Calleary

Fianna Fáil TD for Mayo Dara Calleary has called on the Minister for Social Protection to clarify whether the criteria for the Farm Assist payment has changed.  The latest renewal form does not take outgoings into consideration, focusing solely on assets and income. Deputy Calleary commented, “I have been contacted by farmers across the county who are confused and concerned by the new renewal form.
